  8. This site is intended to provide resources to make the most of the
  9. Classic Motorola MT-500 Handie Talkie.  Capable of going onto 10
  10. meters, 6 meters, 2 meters and 70cm amateur bands, depending on which
  11. model you have.  Extensive technical information, diagrams, and
  12. replacement part numbers, some of which can still be ordered from
  13. Motorola.  There is also a history of this model, which many agree was
  14. the best hand held ever made by Motorola, even when compared to today's
  15. modern equipment.
